CONTE RESUMES, WANTS ANDERSON AT STAMFORD BRIDGE

Antonio Conte is officially the new coach of The Blues as he has been announced.

The newly installed manager opted out of the usual highly publicised unveiling on Monday July 11th. He would also not do his supposed press conference until much later in the week. He was widely expected to meet the players at the Cobham training base but took his time before meeting the press finally.

The former Juventus coach is reported to be keen on landing one of the young talents in Europe in Felipe Anderson. The 23-year old star player has been impressive for Italian side Lazio and the club is prepared to cash in on the interest of the English Premier League giant. A report from Gazzeta World says the club could sell the player to Stamford Bridge for the right price this summer.

The player struggled to reach top form in the last campaign as he scored just seven goals and has just four assists, having reached better levels in previous seasons. Lazio also disappointingly placed eighth place in the local league but Chelsea are reported to be keen on bringing the player still to England. The player’s agent, Giuliano Bertolucci, has strong ties with the club and the Italian reports are rife with news that the deal could go through this summer. The Brazilian is believed to be interested in playing under Conte and could relocate for the right deal.

Chelsea are also set to lose out on N’Golo Kante as the Leicester City player has been tempted to remain at the club with a new deal. The other players could appeal to the Frenchman to remain at the club so they could replicate their victory in the coming season. Chelsea wants the player to handle their defensive midfield under Conte but their plans might be ruined if the club retain the player with teh new deal.
