Costa to leave Chelsea

Chelsea striker Diego Costa has revealed that his manager Antonio Conte does not want him at the club for next season.


The player said that he had received a text message from his manager to tell him that he does not form part of his plan for the next Premier League season.

Conte is confident that his squad will get even better

Antonio Conte and his squad are leading the way at the top of the English Premier League as they have a 10 point advantage over their nearest rivals which at the time of writing this article is Tottenham Hotspur who has gathered 59 points from the 28 opening league matches of the season while Chelsea on the other hand has 69 points from that same amount of games played.

Courtois wants Chelsea to win

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois believes that Chelsea has a great opportunity to end the title race as from next week if they managed to beat Liverpool and Arsenal.


Chelsea will be facing Liverpool who is currently fourth in the table on Wednesday, and then four days later they will be facing their London rivals Arsenal.

FORMER CHELSEA FORWARD ADVISES DEMBELE

VARDY NAMED FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR

Leicester City striker, Jamie Vardy has been named the Football writers’ Association Footballer of the Year. The prolific English striker won with due to a vote of 36 percent as entered by 290 journalists. The player won the award ahead of team mates, Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante.

The 29-year old striker has scored 22 premier league goals this season including netting in a league record 11 games in a row. Leicester City need just two points to ensure they lift the trophy if their closest rival, Tottenham lose to Chelsea on Monday.

Alexandre Pato has yet to play his first match for Chelsea

A group of fans desperate to see Alexandre Pato in the Chelsea shirt has created a webpage to remind the Chelsea management that the striker has yet to make a debut.
